First EducAid Professional Training is committed to providing outstanding First Aid and CPR/AED Training and excellent customer services. By being an Authorized Provider of the Canadian Red Cross and an Affiliate Member of the Lifesaving Society, the quality of training are held at the highest national standard by two of Canada’s leading First Aid Training agencies.

 

Course Expectations:

(a) In order to successfully complete this course, participants must achieve 100 per cent participation and a minimum mark of 75 per cent on the written examination, as per Canadian Red Cross requirements for certification.

WSIB Information:

(b) The Canadian Red Cross First Aid & CPR/AED program, and the Lifesaving Society First Aid & CPR program are approved by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board and meets Canada’s Occupational Safety and Health Regulations approved by Human Resources and Development Canada, Labour.

Release:

(c) release(s) First EducAid Professional Training, its affiliates, associates, director, officers, agents, instructors and employees from all claims and liabilities whatsoever arising from participation in or attendance at one or more of First EducAid’s current or future programs by the undersigned.

 

 

 

Payment Policy:

All courses must be prepaid in full. Spots will only be reserved when full payment is received.

 

Cancellation Policy:

A $30 administration fee will apply to any cancellations made more than 96 hours prior to the start of the course. No refund will be given to anyone who cancels within 96 hours of the start of the course. No refund will be given to anyone who has registered and does not attend the course. Please call 613-583-3398 to cancel.  Courses may be cancelled due to inclement weather, low enrolment, or instructor illness. Participants will be rescheduled or refunded.

 

 

 

Health Precaution:

First EducAid Professional Training is committed to safeguarding the health and safety of our participants. For most people, the physical activity involved in a First Aid course should not pose a threat to your health. A PAR-Q form must be completed prior to the start of the course. The PAR-Q is only meant to be informative. Continuation in the course is at the discretion of the candidate.

 

 

 

There is a small number of people who may find the level of physical activities in this course strenuous. If you have any of the health conditions listed below, we recommend that you do not participate in the skills practice and demonstration involving physical activity until you have checked with your personal physician – a history of heart attack or other heart conditions, respiratory problems other physical disabilities, or are pregnant. If you are unsure of the level of physical activities that is expected of you to meet the standards, please see your course conductor before the course begins. We’ll be happy to discuss that with you. Your comfort matters. Please be advised that all skills must be demonstrated to standard as prescribed by the Canadian Red Cross or the Lifesaving Society before a certification can be issued.

 

 

 


Privacy Policy:

For your comfort:

 

1)      Please dress comfortably.

 

2)      Please bring a towel to serve as a “knee-pad”. During CPR training, candidates are expected to perform compression on a mannequin on the ground.

 

3)      Please bring snacks; breaks will be provided during the course of the day.
