Standard First Aid & CPR-C (Red Cross)
Standard first aid and CPR-C with AED re-certification course designed specifically for Nursing Students offered in a focused fashion.
As per Ontario WSIB Regulation, you must hold: 1) an ORIGINAL (not a re-cert) SFA-C certificate, and 2) it must originate from Red Cross, in order to take this course.
Fulfills academic requirements for the School of Nursing.

- The EMS System Check, Call, Care
- Airway Emergencies (Choking)
- Breathing & Circulation Emergencies (Hyperventilation, Asthma, Severe Allergic Reaction, Heart Attack, Stroke, Deadly Bleeding)
- First Aid for Respiratory & Cardiac Arrest (CPR and Defibrillation)
- Head & Spine Injuries
- Bone, Muscle & Joint Injuries (Splinting)
- Wound Care (Bandaging, knocked-out tooth, Amputation, Penetrating Chest Injuries)
- Sudden Medical Emergencies (Fainting, Diabetes, Seizures, Emergency Childbirth)
- Environmental Emergencies (Hypothermia, Frostbite, Heat Exhaustion, Heat Stroke, Poisoning, Alcohol Poisoning)
